1995- Graduated from Kansas State with a degree in Biology
2001- Begun teaching chess locally to individual students
2001- Realized the Candidate Master title in chess
2001- Kansas State Champion (adult)
2007- 2015 won 13 team state titles in divisions (K-2) (K-5) (6th grade)
2008- Defeated first Grandmaster and 2-time US champion
2010- Launched chess equipment business for designer chessboards
2012- Peak rating of 2134 (98th percentile of all tournament players)
